I was busy reading one of my friend’s proposal on
term life insurance when I heard the breaking news that another earthquake has struck and this time in Chile with an 8.8 magnitude. I can’t believe what I was hearing. I mean it’s just been awhile since we had the Haiti tragedy and now this? Is this a sign that Mother Earth is now hitting back at us? Well, I can’t blame her after the things we have done to her. We destroyed the forest, polluted the air and the waters and filling the entire Earth with trash!
Anyway, I am not pointing fingers at anyone but I believe this is a wake-up call, a call to change our ways and live life better. This is the time to give the best for Mother Earth so that our children could still inherit her with beauty and grandeur!!

When I was single, I wanted to gain weight. So every time I saw a
weight loss program advertisement, I always hoped that there would be a weight gain program too. But now that I am already married and have three kids, I do no longer want to gain weight but only to lose. I have gained tremendous weight on my third pregnancy and it’s making it hard for me to trim down.
Anyway, I am still hopeful that I will trim down. I know I still have time and there are many ways I haven’t tried using to lose weight. So, there is still hope!

Speaking about find the right weight loss program for me, I tried reading diet pill reviews. I wanted to know if there is a chance for me to use some. That is why I was able to read
phentermine reviews. They gave me an idea how the product works and if it’s long lasting or a quality product.
Anyway, I am not yet sure if diet pills are exactly the things I need to lose weight but I am not closing on the idea. That is why I am still exploring more about it.
How about you? Any of you guys experienced taking diet pills? How did it go for you?

I haven’t rewarded myself lately. I haven’t visited any spa nor been close to standing near a
spa filter!! Though I bought a new mobile phone earlier this month, I haven’t taken care of my physical self. I was not able to have a neither hair nor foot spa. I only got a pedicure that gave me a pain (got a toe infection)!
Anyway, I am planning to get one next month. I badly need some pampering and a new look. I have been into too much stress lately so a stress reliever might be wonderful!!

Have you heard about
nutrisystem? Most of my friends in the US told me that it’s a diet plan that provides choices, education, restaurant options and many more. It is also a diet plan that allows eating the same food choices with no weight gain! Isn’t that amazing?!
Well, I haven’t tried it yet though it sounds good to me. I think it is a diet plan worth trying. Don’t you think?

I believe that the best way to lose weight self-control. Because no matter how many times you go to the gym or take all the best diet aids, if you don’t have self-control, you will still end up losing and gaining weight again. You will have a hard time putting those pounds off!
So, if you want to be slim or stay slim, I guess you must have self-control first. Once you have it, everything else will just follow! Agree?

When I saw redness in my baby’s skin, I thought to myself if she is having eczema. Because according to Wikipedia, eczema is “a disease in a form of dermatitis, or inflammation of the epidermis. The term eczema is broadly applied to a range of persistent skin conditions. These include dryness and recurring skin rashes that are characterized by one or more of these symptoms: redness, skin edema (swelling), itching and dryness, crusting, flaking, blistering, cracking, oozing, or bleeding. Areas of temporary skin discoloration may appear and are sometimes due to healed lesions. Scratching open a healing lesion may result in scarring. Eczema may be confused with urticaria. In contrast to psoriasis, eczema is often likely to be found on the flexor aspect of joints.”
Study also shows that 20% of the infant population in the US suffers from it. So, I immediate searched for eczema pictures to get better understanding just to make sure. When I found one, I immediately compared my baby’s redness to the photos I have seen. Thank God my baby is not suffering from it. The redness of her skin is far from an eczema problem!

When I was on my second grade, I was not able to attend my first communion. I don’t know what was the real reason why but all I could remember was I had my first communion private at my aunt’s place.
Here in the Philippines, first communion happens when the child reaches the age of eight. That is when a child is already on its second grade of elementary. In the US, I am not sure at what age a child goes to his or her first communion but all I know is that they send invitations to family and friends. They invite them to witness their child’s first communion.
As for me, giving first communion invitations is also cool. It would be nice that members of the family and friends can witness your child’s milestone. It gives your child a sense of importance.
Anyway, how about you? Do you like the idea of giving out first communion invitations?

Imagine this; you are on your to a job interview with your dream company at Chicago. While driving your
Toyota Corolla, you got yourself a problem with your
water pump. Immediately, you had it replaced at the nearest
Chicago auto repair shop. And while your car is at the shop, you went and had some delicious meal at a nearby diner. Since your cell phone already has fallen asleep due to low battery, you have it recharged at the diner. When your car got fixed, you left the place as fast as you can since you are running late. When you were already a few minutes nearer to your destination, you found out that you have left your cell phone at the diner!! What would your initial reaction be? Would you drive back or move forward?
This kind of situation happens to us every now and then. It might not be exactly the same but I know all of us have been there. These are the moments that you find yourself in crossroads and are forced to make a decision right away with so little time. And when you have decided, you will face the consequences of your decision with happiness or sadness. If we landed happily, then we are thankful and if not, then we succumb to regret.
Anyway, my point is…whatever your decision is. Make sure you have decided it with all your heart and mind. Decide in a way that whatever happens, you will try not to feel any negativity towards it but will face consequences wholeheartedly. You will not blame or find fault in others. Why I say this? Because I found out that the key to happiness and satisfaction in life is living it free from negative thoughts. Once you are free from negativity, it is easier to find positive things in every circumstance making life happy always!

Since I was a child, I am an avid fan of SM Department Store until it became mega malls here in the Philippines. When I go to Manila, I always wanted to visit SM as regular as I can just to eat or buy something. Now that I have my own family, it is the preferred place where I do my groceries, pleasures of family dining, shopping and meeting fellow bloggers.
Speaking about SM Malls, I admire their concept of green shopping at their grocery store. Every Wednesday, they have a green shopping advocacy where you bring your own green bag and you will have discounts from your groceries. I haven’t tried it yet since I don’t do groceries on Wednesday or weekdays in general (except on emergency days).
Anyway, SM have more green advocacy projects. All of them are noteworthy.
