Watched The Expendables

Just a few weeks ago, I was able to watch the movie The Expendables with my husband. Some who made a review about the movie says it sucked big time. As for me, I really liked the movie. Having almost all of the famous action stars of the 80s and 90s into one movie plus adding funny movie lines, the movie was bound to entertain and to be honest, I got entertained!

Anyway, though it was just plain action movie with super muscle heroes and villains smoking cohiba cigars, my husband and I truly enjoyed the movie. I was worth every cent. I encourage you to watch it if you haven’t watched the movie yet.

Bigger Clothes, Bigger Budget

When I was younger, I never had a problem with clothes. That is because, I am tall and slender. Even petite clothing would fit me nicely. I like the fact that I can fit in petite clothing because smaller clothes are actually cheaper. Yep! Those one size fits all blouses can be dirt cheap but are really nice.

But now that I have gained weight, I have to pick clothes with sizes. I can fit in Large sizes now. Actually, I am not that big, but I just wear Large clothes so that my bulges will be hidden. Uggh…But well, I guess that is the most that I can really do with my figure for now. It’s just that plus size clothes are way expensive. Sometimes they are more than triple the cost of small clothes. Woe is me!

Showtime, My Favorite Noontime Show

I am fond of watching dance competitions. In fact, I am one of the many fans of this hit TV show, Showtime, a show that features different types of dances, mostly hip hop, performed by contestants coming from different places all over the country.

I am also entertained by their costumes; others wear gowns, tribal costumes, hip hop clothing and other types of outfits that will certainly match their performance. I admit, this is one of my “guilty pleasures” and I don’t blame myself. I am proud to say that I am hooked with this noontime show. How about you?

An LOL Situation

My husband was commissioned to look for 108R00723. He asked me through a text message if I could check the price over the internet since their internet was down and having problems. Since I don’t know what a 108R00723 is, I texted him back and asked him what it is. He then replied that it a product number of a Xerox Phaser ink sticks.

After that, I immediately search the internet for prices and texted it to him. Then he replied back again saying, he already has the price list because their internet access is back. I just spent the whole afternoon checking on prices and then just to find out that he already accomplished it. Hahaha… What a bummer!

Have you been in this kind of situation? Well, I have been on it so many times. I just find it as an LOL situation for me.

Needs a New Deadbolt Lock

It’s been a few weeks now that our main door deadbolt lock has a problem. I haven’t taken time to buy a replacement yet since I have been busy with the kids lately especially they have been sick almost every week.

I tried checking on Schlage deadbolts to see if they are available here in our place. The old one we had was new but it broke after a few weeks. So I thought that maybe getting a popular brand will secure my main door. It will make me feel safe too.

Anyway, I will try to have our main door deadbolt lock done soon. It will be better to have it secured so that we can leave the house anytime.
