Technology has been so advance now compared to the previous decade. Did you know that gps maps are being used not only to track where a certain member of your family or employee is at the moment (usually with the mobile phone), or where a vehicle is at the moment (especially for those with trucking services), but even golf players are making use of it. Certain watches for golfers have several maps installed that they are able to know where they, as players, stand away from their ball. It surely is a great way to track where you are but could it also be a threat?

Some people who have a Recreational Vehicle (RV) really don’t give much importance in getting an RV insurance. For one, they don’t use their vehicles on a daily basis. Secondly, most of the time these RVs are just on standby—like the owners would stop over for a night or two in a certain destination. RVs do not also run as fast as an ordinary car would. Most of the time RVs are not really on high speed when they hit the road, making them less prone for accidents.

But mind you, any accident could happen when you travel, and being on vacation is not really an exception to that. So it would really be wise to have your RV insured. That way, you could be assured of your protection while on vacation.

Funny T-shirts

When I go outside our house or going to some places with many crowds. I usually wear attire that would express what I am or what I do. In most cases I wear my t-shirt with “PR3 ang Blog ko” in it, but end-up with few commentators since there is only few blogger in our place.

But when I wear funny t-shirts, it always end-up with a warm environment to most of the places I go into. It makes my surrounding a happy environment and makes me the center of conversations and even the clown of the crowd. Hehehe… Funny right? Wann try? Do it and don’t forget to enjoy it!

Never Get Lost with a Handheld GPS

We don’t have a car. Well, at least not yet. That’s probably one reason why my husband and I couldn’t care less while everybody else is going crazy over GPS systems. I mean what’s the use of having a GPS if we don’t even own a car, right?

But then I got to thinking, “What if we decide to hit the trails and go hiking and we suddenly get lost?” It would be so frustrating to get lost in unfamiliar territory especially when I am not really good at reading maps. So I tried to see if there were handheld GPS systems that can be used for hikes and trips on foot. I keyed in gps handheld garmin since I know that Garmin is one of the top manufacturers of GPS.

Lo and behold, I was greeted with far too many results as soon as I hit the enter key. Now my dilemma is choosing the best one to order. There are basic handhelds and mapping handhelds so I still need to study the differences between the two. Suffice it to say that with a GPS, I’m spared from the risk of getting lost.

Easy Steering for a Big Vehicle

I remember that in the past, power steering was not available for older model vehicles. These were really hard to maneuver, especially if you get into a small dirt road.

But now, thanks to the innovation in the car manufacturing industry, we now enjoy comfort and convenience in driving. If cars can be difficult to drive, I think it would be several times more difficult to operate an ATV that traverses all kinds of terrains. Thankfully, there is also ATV power steering available so that outdoor enthusiasts will not have a hard time on difficult roads. More fun, less hassle and muscle pain!

Announcing a Birth in Style

If there’s one thing I regret when I gave birth to my eldest and middle children, it’s that I wasn’t able to make an announcement of their births in a grand way. To think that the birth of a child is a very wonderful occasion that must be shared with almost everyone, the whole world if need be.

Now, mothers are more fortunate because they have so many ways and means to make everyone aware of the birth of their kids. Some send text messages to their families and friends, others send e-mail announcements. Others, though, prefer to take the grander route by having photo birth announcements made. A photo birth announcement bears the picture of the newborn plus other details of his birth like his date of birth, birth weight and name of parents of course. Indeed, the passage of time has made it possible for people to celebrate life’s precious moments in style.
