We just celebrated our 12th year anniversary with a dinner—both of us were not able to give each other gifts, but I would have given him les paul if I had the chance. Maybe for his birthday I could. If not, then there will always be anniversaries every year!

We have just entered a new year and with that, we are all getting older. It will just happen at different times during the year but adding another year to our ages is just inevitable.

With that, we will be celebrating birthdays in our family and among our circle of friends. We shall be buying gifts for kids birthdays, for our parents, for our grandparents, our closest friends, even our bosses.

The item may just depend on the budget but well, as inevitable as the celebration is, so is the buying of gifts. It is something that we have to save on so that we can give out good things for others.

Many of us really gained weight over the holidays because of the endless parties. And there is just so much food to go around. For mommies who hate wasting food, they try to finish whatever they can because they feel it is their responsibility.

But because of all the food intake, we just find out that we had already more than tipped the scales. The best thing to do now is to reduce food intake and then do some routines, like a zumba dance workout.

It is fun, low-impact, and makes us burn calories and fat. It is just what we need for the after-holiday weight gain.

The people who practiced them for centuries saw it that way, coupled with physical and mental discipline. Nowadays, though, people practice yoga without having to embrace the spiritual implications that come along with it.

It is more of a physical exercise, although those who are actively doing yoga have testified of the inner peace it has brought them. The firm abs, of course, is an added bonus. Those complicated-looking yoga poses are even made simpler and more doable with the advent of yogitoes.

I am sure everyone in the family would enjoy the goodies in a basket during the Christmas Eve dinner.

Speaking about Christmas dinner, ours was not that fancy this year, but it’s always important to go back to why we celebrate the season. It’s when we fully understand it that we would end up thankful for what we have, for the gift of life and family… and the many good things we have received this year.

That way, we could face the coming New Year with ready hearts, both for good and bad times.

Different people treat apparel differently. The rich and famous will go for glamour and comfort. The fashion addicts go for the trend even if it is not comfortable or the trend does not fit the body due to size (horizontally and vertically).

Uniforms are considered lifeless. As much as possible, people do not want to be in their uniforms. They only wear them because they have to. Uniforms, though, can be beautiful and comfortable like those Cherokee uniforms. The wearer’s appeal rises. It makes the owner want to have several of them to be worn anytime when needed and even wanted.

In the Philippines, commercial gps has been used to track the speed of commercial buses to avoid accidents. Since it has been known that drivers race through wee hours of the night to stay awake (which usually caused the accident), now they can be tracked. They cannot be too early arriving at their destination. The pasengers can sleep soundly without the fear of reckless driving.

Technology has been so advance now compared to the previous decade. Did you know that gps maps are being used not only to track where a certain member of your family or employee is at the moment (usually with the mobile phone), or where a vehicle is at the moment (especially for those with trucking services), but even golf players are making use of it. Certain watches for golfers have several maps installed that they are able to know where they, as players, stand away from their ball. It surely is a great way to track where you are but could it also be a threat?

Have you ever experienced mails not reaching you when you expected them to arrive much earlier? Perhaps you have just moved to that place so you give it a little more time. The postman does not recognize your name yet. Or, you may be living in a place where addresses are not given sequentially as houses are planned next to another, instead, they are assigned depending on what house was built first so that house gets the first number. What can you do to ease the burden so mails can reach you? How about if you use a house number plaque so that it will strike an impression on the postman’s mind and easily be found?

You don’t have to be a medical practitioner in order to work in hospitals. Aside from clerical and technical jobs, Dietetic Technician Jobs are also in great demand. It is actually one challenging job, since you have to be concerned on the nutritional needs of the patients. People who need medical attention deserve food with as much nutritive value as possible, but you cannot just give them anything. It has to be carefully planned, and even calculated. Since they are assisted by a professional and registered dietician, it should be something you could learn and master doing over years of experience. I don’t know how I’d fare if I would do such a job—I have never experienced doing it before, but I could always pursue a degree on it and learn to love it if there are opportunities open for me.
